I feel bad for younger folks nowadays. I’m 48 and that’s old enough that when I wanted to meet people, it meant going somewhere and meeting them in person.

Sure, the internet opens up a huge pool of additional possibilities but there’s no substitute for meeting women in person. Thinking back to my girlfriends in younger days, I met them all through friends or other people I already knew.

I gave my 10:00 walking tour and the weather was good and as soon as I finished it started pouring rain! Thankfully it stopped about a half hour before my 1:00 tour! After dropping off my guests at the end of that tour it started pouring rain even worse! I had to drive in the heaviest rain of my life. I didn’t want to stop because I have a dentist appointment soon.

One really cool thing happened on my second tour. I had guests from the Netherlands and during the walk they ran into their uncle!! They had no clue that he was even in Niagara Falls!! What are the odds of us running into him like that?? So cool

Eating at Buffalo Wild Wings got the wing special. Me and mom only eat teriyaki or bbq wings so we got 20 teriyaki wings and dad got 10 buffalo wings. I finally got everything straight at the credit union. They were very apologetic to me and apparently a very high up manager got involved and got everything straightened out. I’m still mad about them not being able to reissue the same debit card number but at least I got the account number back since I had it since I was a baby that’s what I cared about. They said they would reissue the card number if they could but unfortunately them and MasterCard had already killed it and couldn’t ever be reissued as the same number. To make extra good they increased my credit line on my credit card by $200 so I’ll give them that and now everything is straight and working properly.

I have to be honest - I don’t get the fuss. Why put so much effort into something that has no practical effect on you or anything you do?
Maybe it’s different where you are but I guarantee you that nobody I know in my life is aware of their bank account number or debit card number unless they have to look it up for some reason.
