You have no clue how you screw yourself over.

Most banks use an internal customer rating system called ChexSystems. Having that many accounts put you at high risk to have something go south and be viewed as a less than perfect customer across the board.

On top of that even if you manage to follow the rules on you accounts and maintain the rules, if you ever want to get a mortgage, a mortgage underwriter has to peek into your accounts at the money transfers and whatever else. Your making his/her job difficult, you look like a fool to him/her and might be denied the mortgage because you don't appear like a loyal customer... . I could be wrong.

If I saw that I would think we have a check kiting scammer ... floating money around...

Just dropped my wife's X3 off at the BMW dealer for a couple of recall repairs. Can't wait for the call from the service advisor with a laundry list of things that are in "dire need of repair" at 51K miles... They won't be doing any additional repairs.
You need new tires, brakes, ball joints, an alignment of course, oil change...........

I witnessed what could have been a tragedy at Niagara Falls but thankfully was resolved. When I was giving my 1:00 walking tour and we got closer to the area directly across from the American Falls there was yellow police tape blocking off a large area. I saw a man crouched down in the grass on the OTHER SIDE of the barrier, just a few feet away from a roughly 200 foot drop into the gorge. A woman with a police crisis jacket was right there talking with him. On the way back to the area after the tour the police tape was no longer there so they must have resolved it and convinced the man to come back over to safety. He will likely face a massive fine (possibly $25,000!) but hopefully he gets the help he needs. Sadly at least one person every week dies here, either by accident or by suicide 😥

Yeah a $25k fine guarantees no mental illness help... actually he will be back before the fine due date 😔 😟

I saw something similar in a little tourist town here in Washington called Port Townsend. A 20 something guy had tied a bunch of sandbags to himself and was stopped from jumping into the ocean by a police officer. I saw it from a coffee shop overlooking the public access area. This tortured soul was bawling his eyes out at they loaded him into the ambulance.

Nothing against teachers, but cops have a much harder job.

I refuse to fail

I’m just not going to post about banking anymore. Everyone I know tells me it’s good then everyone here tells me it’s bad so I don’t know what to believe anymore. I believe it’s good though since one of those people was a retired banker. She told me the only thing another bank or lender can see is your paycheck account and your credit card accounts. It’s all good I should have kept it to myself anyway I just don’t have anyone to talk to so it’s nice to have conversation pieces.

As for what I’m doing just getting ready to pull in the salesman’s car and put some tires on it then hopefully get Chinese food on the way home.

You have people here you could DM for info privately. Just avoid doing things in excess... it's not a good thing. That banker is retired for a reason...

Firemen have the toughest job as around here the cops call them in if they may possibly get dirty...
