The pastor of the church I went to as a kid took a turn as chaplain of the local fire department (all the ministers in the town took turns). Some of the stories he told when the women weren't around about situations he was called out to made me not want to be a fireman.

I've also watched a state trooper crawl into a flipped car to check a blood covered body inside when the fire and aid people were present, so no judgement from me for any of those guys

So her advice was based on long ago principals of spread your money around... incase a bank goes belly up and that is no longer a great idea especially since you did your deodorant trick of overload... seriously... FDIC.....

I am doing laundry because it's Thursday and you Field Day and then either do laundry or go to the club on Thursday night.

I’m sorry if it felt dismissive. I do listen. It was hard to take everything in right then especially when it’s hearing one thing and then hearing another. I welcome your advice and anyone else’s. I’ll keep the banks I have for now and won’t join anymore and if anyone of them starts adding fees first I’ll reach out and then if they won’t do anything I’ll move money out of there and drop it. Please keep the advice coming I welcome it. I acted too fast on that since was trying to rush the post being at work. I hope you’ll accept my apology. I acted too fast.

I just activated my Bank of America card since it came today. Now looking thru my 2,000+ sockets trying to find one specific socket that I know is somewhere because I need it for dad’s truck. It’s a GM oil sending unit socket that also fits an air switch in his dash on his Freightliner. The ones at the auto parts store are too tall. I got the shorter one. I’ll probably find it when I don’t need it anymore lol that’s always how it goes.

Can you grind on or weld up one to make it work?
 
It was a long day for me at Niagara Falls, I just got home a few minutes ago. I got completely soaked on my 1:00 tour, even with an umbrella. The heavy rain combined with heavy winds and extra mist from the falls was to blame. I always shower when I get home from doing tours because the limestone that’s in the mist of the falls makes my skin feel sticky 😵‍💫 I got a great tip from my 4:00 tour guests. It was a family of four from New Jersey that were thrilled to get a private tour and they gave me $50 US 🤩 That converts to over $70 Canadian 😃
 
I found the socket now I’m eating a couple ice cream sandwiches while waiting on dad to get home so we can eat and go fix his truck. I found said socket in the very last box I opened. I’ll be on my own for dinner tonight because they made meatloaf which is a food I can’t stand because of the onions and peppers in the meatloaf. I should have got Chinese on the way home like I planned but I might resort to cereal since I want to save money lol.
