What are you doing right now?

Just got home from a grueling drive from Utah. We drove only stopping for pit stops, I drove during the day and my wife at night.
1864 miles in 25 hours 12 minutes. Of course 80 MPH speed limits in Utah and 75 MPH in Colorado helped. Wife got called Friday evening she's needed back at work to fly out to DC on Monday morning.

A lot of trucks break down on the mountains. This is a Peterbilt.

I just realized I was paying for subscriptions don’t even use like Apple Fitness so I clicked cancel on it. I feel bad about doing that but my wallet doesn’t feel bad lol. Also looking for anything and everything I have to sell because I want money. I’m not selling everything I’m just selling stuff of value that I’m not using like old electronics like iPhones and iPods that I have and whatever else.

Took the daughter to some dance intensive that she will be at for the next six weeks. Up in VT. Great day to drive, skies were clear, with some of those big fluffy clouds, with visibility for miles on tops of the hills. Nice day, got a bit of rain on the way home but nothing bad. Good day for nearly 5 hours of driving.

Called my parents, had a nice call, caught up on all the things in life.

Got a pad of paper with a magnet strip on it for writing down grocery lists onto, and a new clock for the wall. The tail wags and the eyes move. I think we watched Back to the Future and I think I mentioned to the fam that my grandparents had one of these clocks, so apparently I needed one too.

Waiting for pizza to get made then will sit back and relax before another typical workweek ahead.

There used to be a liquor store in College Park, MD named the Tick-Tock that had a huge sign with that cat-clock on it. Everything worked. And more of them inside. It was the go to alcohol store for the underage. Finally got shut down because the owner, in cahoots with the Sheriff, were running booze into Maryland from Virginia in police cars without paying Maryland taxes. It's out there folks. I'll bet the now former Sheriff hasn't had a good time in jail.
