What are you doing right now?

Did it burn oil from the beginning, or come on with some decent amount of miles. Maybe the oil control rings get gummed up from poor design (lacking good drain holes in the oil ring groove) and something like Valvoline Restore and Protect could help clean up the ring pack.
I bought mine used at 112k miles and it burned oil then, and got worse as time went on. It was a persistent misfire and low compression that moved me to replace the engine with one out of a 2016 Forester.

But a lot of them burned oil in excessive amounts since day one. It was a mechanical defect, not something any oil would have fixed.

Was there a factory recall/warranty on the excessive oil burning, like Toyota did for some of their oil burners? If so, maybe it's been addressed.

There was, and Subaru replaced a lot of shortblocks. However a lot of people didn’t seem to bother with that as a lot of the oil burners are still out there. For some, they were already passed the warranty on it and didn’t want to pay for the repair themselves. I have spent a lot of time on Subaru forums and see a lot of these stories still to this day.

I have been looking at tickets for the Kansas City Royals game on either July 20th or 21st as that will be on our way back from Junction City for our family reunion. Man tickets are expensive lol. Also looking for rooms in both Junction City and Kansas City. My parents want to use my car and I’m not to keen on that idea but might consider it lol. My thing is if we use my car we are getting a hotel in each place and not no AirBNB crap lol.

I have a new squeeze... my ex fiancee mother of 88...she survived that severe heart issue and a severe bought of pneumonia and I have helped her all along the way. We talk daily and she is my favorite lady.. she said I could post this as she texts me all the time.. I hope to see her later in April...

Getting ready for lunch. I have 110 hours going into this afternoon I’ve been hustling like crazy lol. Started the day with 97.3 hours. So I’m already at my $450 bonus I’m just going to keep going so I can make all kinds of money lol.
Good job Blake, keep it up! Make sure you invest some of your earnings, get some sound financial advice. There are some really helpful people here that I'm sure could point you in the right direction. I worked like an SOB, my wife did too, and we saved like crazy in order to be debt free by the age of 28. Some of our investments panned out, but some were real duds. My heart was always in the right place though, so that my wife could stay home and raise the kids. She hasn't had to work full time for almost 20 years cause we saved and saved and saved.

I decided that I’m going to try to save around $600 per month if I can swing it. My non car payment checks I’ll take the equivalent of my car payment out and put it in savings and not touch it till I absolutely need it. Also get my credit up and get a large down payment saved for a house hopefully. I’m trying to pay off debt while also having money to save, bills and then a little fun money. If I have to wait a bit on the fun money that’s fine but I want to get to a point where I don’t even have to worry about anything like gas or groceries and can get them with peace of mind.

Factor in house property taxes and insurance o_O ... and all other bills from home ownership. Have you sat down and did a cost analysis of owning a house?

I've traveled with many nurses
I'm a sucker for a tan body wrapped in white
I worked with nurses in an office-setting for about 10 years. Very interesting conversations coming over the cubicle walls at times...for example, one day, of them matter-of-factly announced "if I didn't know better I'd swear that I was ovulating."

I have to admit, I never heard that in the various I/T settings I worked. Ever.

The WRK was a nurse at Johns Hopkins and like you I'd here the stories...

I’m thinking about everything right now and trying to decide if I should sell the Beeltle or not. I’ve been up in the air about it for a while. I want the money and don’t really want the car anymore but I know I’d regret selling it just as I do my truck. I definitely don’t want to work on it because I work on stuff all day long 5 days a week lol. If I ask my parents for budget or savings help they start going crazy so I keep the stuff out of their ears lol.
