No charge for the a swap! I had no idea was expecting at least 200 bucks. They said it was because I bought all the tires there.

I wonder if that’s a one time deal or if they will keep swapping my snow tires on and off for nothing? Anyway happy camper.

I only have the one set of OEMs. I’m dumbfounded they took off the Blizzaks and remounted and balanced the Conti’s for nothing. Surely they are not going to keep doing that for me twice a year for free?

If so the snows are a fantastic deal. But I am happy with the one freebie,

My tire shop will do anything with my tires for free for me even if I need a rebalance. I bought the tires there but I think that is in part due to the fact that I do all my rotations myself even though I technically get free rotations. But I save them a lot of money doing them myself.

Now I’m craving Chick Fil A 😃 There aren’t that many locations up here but luckily there is one about 25 minutes away from me. I’ll have to take a drive out there soon 😋

A few years ago before we had the Popeyes chicken sandwich up here and before we had Chick Fil A, the only way I could get their chicken sandwiches was when I traveled to the US. My wife and I were in Sarasota for a week so I decided that I needed to do a taste test between the both of those places. So I ate at each place twice during our stay and I determined that I preferred the Popeyes just a little bit, but both of them are very delicious! 😃

That being said, there is a chicken sandwich out there that blows both of them away! It’s at a place in Laval Quebec called Cali. I loved it so much that when I went on a trip to Nova Scotia in 2023 I made a two hour detour on the way so that I could get another one of their delicious sandwiches (and thankfully it was just as delicious as the first one I had in 2021!)

The main problem with Popeyes is consistency. The one in Aldergrove I believe is just ok the one in Lynden is above average. This is based on 2024 eating habits

I actually didn’t know there are any Chik Fil A in Canada.

The first location came to Canada in 2019, in Toronto and now there are a few more locations in Ontario and some in Alberta. They are planning some in BC but not until 2030.

I know what you mean about Popeyes consistency. It’s rare for me but one out of every ten sandwiches I get there ends up being too small and not as crispy as I like it. But when that does happen it’s very disappointing.
