We got big peacocks in my neighborhood.
Man, I think I'll look into Door Dash or another service. Years ago I delivered Chinese when I friend opened a new restaurant and couldn't get anyone to deliver on weekends. I worked for meals and tips. Warning: People in Baltimore don't tip.Done more door dashing. Too cold out now 13 degrees feels like -2 it says and I believe it lol. Customers have all been great so far though which is a plus.
The highest tip I’ve gotten so far is $8. Lowest was $1.60. Most tips were between $5-$8. I made $121.99 today that’s after my gas purchase so it was about $155. Peak times are the lunch and dinner rush and football Sunday also. Two of the customers told me they were watching football and appreciated the delivery so I will definitely do it more on Sunday now. You also make extra from DoorDash when it’s peak time they had an extra $2.50 per order during one of my shifts and the other one they had an extra $1 per order during my shift. Dad does DoorDash and GrubHub but GrubHub currently has a waitlist for this area so I couldn’t sign up right away. I’ve thought about trying UberEats but it’s not as popular in this area as DoorDash and GrubHub are.Man, I think I'll look into Door Dash or another service. I wanted to do it once back during the summer when my parents were gone and went to place my order and there was almost $20 in fees plus the tip I’m like uh heck no. Hopped in the car and drove the 4 miles to go get the food lol. Not to mention the inflated restaurant price on there too to account for their fees. I mean I missed half an inning of baseball game on TV that day but I’ll live lol. I calculated it out and I saved about $30 going to the restaurant on my own that time because regular priced items, no delivery fee or DoorDash fee and no tip so it was a huge savings. This is why I don't do Door Dash. Plus I'm not that lazy to not get my own food, lol. Then there's the ones that spay pepper spray on the delivery when the tip isn't adequate enough for them.
It costs money to be lazy.I wanted to do it once back during the summer when my parents were gone and went to place my order and there was almost $20 in fees plus the tip I’m like uh heck no. So I found some tonight at Walmart. If you run low and want more and can’t find it then I can pick up some for you lol. Looked like it was selling the most. It’s one of my favorites too.Illegally Cut Pine is my absolute favorite. Not sure it's still made.

Same, I’m way too cheap to spend $30 to have a food service deliver me a $5 food itemI'd never use a mobile food service myself... no problem but I'd rather pick it up.
Yeah....delivery is like waiting for them to arrive so I can't do anything as I'm too wound up to keep working until they arrive and it burns up my day as I fear I will miss them when they show upSame, I’m way too cheap to spend $30 to have a food service deliver me a $5 food item![]()
