Eating lunch. I would rather be here than out doing DoorDash today and that’s surprising lol. Was 8 degrees earlier now it’s warmed up some though. Props to the brave souls like my friend who makes his living doing DoorDash and GrubHub and Uber Eats cause it’s too cold for that today lol.

Same, I’m way too cheap to spend $30 to have a food service deliver me a $5 food item
I was talking with a cousin of mine the other day. He and his wife have their adult son and daughter-in-law living with them. The son and daughter in law are always complaining about money, and having to live with their parents, but go out to eat for nearly ever meal.
He's explained to them that spending $30-$50 three times per day, isn't supportable if they ever want to have a place of their own.
That never happens!

Eating my Subway Italian BMT sub and researching the best moisturizing bar soap because with all this cold weather my skin is very dry. Luckily we have it in our cabinet, Dove wins the contest. Dove and Dove for Men both are top for moisturizing and we have both. Have to decide between the Dove Beauty Bar or one of the many scents of Dove for men that I have. The green one is my favorite I think it’s called Extra Fresh. Dr. Squatch is also highly rated for moisturizing but I don’t want to crack open another expensive soap till my current Egg Nog bar of Duke Cannon is gone lol.

Dove leaves me feeling like I've got a coating of stuff on my skin. I guess that's the point, but I like my Dial Gold and occasional Old Spice shower gel if I want a fancy smell.

Dial Gold oh man my old school favorite. Love that scent. Got plenty of that stocked in the cabinet too. Dial Gold and Ivory are my favorite old school ones. It’s a shame Ivory doesn’t float anymore though.
Gearing up to head out. Was feeling good yesterday, got the snow tires on in the morning, and... afternoon just slowly faded out. Gotta love a good cold. I probably could do more if I had to... but since I don't, I won't.
If I'm going to be exhausted all afternoon regardless of what I do, maybe I should head out for the morning, see what other shopping I can get done. Plus a friend of the wife's (well I'm a friend too) is coming over to do some online Christmas shopping and perhaps I don't want to hang around for it.

From Monday to Friday I usually just stay in my warm living room but I ventured out into the cold today to go to the grocery store, a couple of Walmarts (there are two near me) and then get a car wash. Now I’m back in my comfy pants and probably will stay inside for a few more days. Hurry up spring! I miss being in Niagara Falls every single day!
Actually worse than Uvalde if that is EVEN possible. There should be some serious shame => job loss. But of course the fault is a sheep farmer with a 1022.I'm watching how pathetic the police are in Australia . Far worse than the UK police....

Just ordered more Christmas gifts for my best friend. I had an order sent to his door today with Walmart spark delivery and one scheduled for tomorrow too. He’s going to be set on bar soap and deodorant and toothbrushes for a long time. I got him everything he wanted except the dark curtains because I don’t know anything about curtains but soap, deodorant, cologne, DVD and antennas are in my specialty areas lol 
. He asked for toothbrushes too so I added plenty of those. The shopper and driver probably thought what in the world. I try to do what I can for him because he doesn’t have enough money for anything except his rent, electric and phone bill. He can’t even buy food so his mom does the food and clothes and shoes and whatever and I do the other stuff like soaps, deodorant whatever I can to help out.
