What are you doing right now?

Hitting the weights than 1.5 hr zone 2 ride this afternoon probably while others sit around and talk about health but never do anything about it.

Waiting for the wife to wake up, as I have vacuuming to do, along with other cleaning chores. Will change the oil first on her car though, and contemplate when/how to change coolant and plugs on her car (procrastination pays off in the here and now). Rained last night so little desire to do yard work, but maybe I should enjoy sun and do some hiking.

I just sent an email to the local station that does Christmas music and complained that they haven’t started yet. Usually starts beginning of November. Probably too many people with no spirit lol. I personally don’t believe in listening to anything else once November hits.

I’m the opposite. The less Christmas music the better. There are some awful songs out there that get played way too much every year 😵‍💫

Lol. Some of them are a bit much. For me I’m the only man in my friends group or family that likes Christmas music. Everyone tells me it’s more of a women’s thing. If I had it my way we’d start listening around Labor Day haha.

The only Christmas music that I enjoy is the Trans Siberian Orchestra and that’s because it’s made up of members of the metal band Savatage and they play a lot of the old Savatage songs at their concerts. I’ve seen them 4 times now 🤘

In zone 2 rolling with the boys building the engine.

Just wrapped up putting a new Western Digital 1TB SSD that I cloned a few days ago into my Dell laptop. The original 512GB SSD with 67% life left started showing bad sectors/blocks, and I'd get a Windows crash and Blue Screen randomly ... probably from the bad sectors. Dell most likely used bottom of the barrel SSD when this laptop was made.

Had a heck of a time getting that SSD cloned a few day ago, as two partitions on the SSD with the original Dell image and the Dell Support stuff really started going down hill fast. So bad that it wouldn't clone, nor make and image without crashing Windows. I lucked out and got it cloned without those partitions included, which I don't really need anyway. Don't need no stinkin' Dell tools, lol. I can now make an image of the new SSD drive (on a regular basis) and use that as a total package backup if needed later if something goes sideways with the new Western Digital drive. The WD SSD is pretty good quality, so should be more robust than the original Dell SSD. Anyway, cleaned out all the lint and dust out of the fan (removed the fan assembly) and replace the CMOS battery while it was opened up too. Everything was pretty easy to work on, and I did have the Dell Service Manual which helped.

When I booted up for the first time with the new cloned SSD I got a black screen. Let it go for awhile to see if it was "thinking" and eventually boot up, but it never did. Shut the power off and tried again and got a message that the system time was off - due to the battery replacement. Went into BIOS setup and set the correct time, rebooted and the Windows log-on screen came up. Logged in and everything looked exactly like it did with the old SSD installed. Disk cloning is the bomb! (y):)

Too bad you hate burgers, I for one like them a lot.

I'm watching TV with my Grandmother and Wife, waiting for the truck to pull into the yard from day shift, so I can jump in it, and go. It could be here in a minute, or 45 minutes, Tammy is driving it right now. I got a text from her earlier, saying that she greased the truck and trailer today. I fuel it up on night shift, as the cardlock is generally quiter then, and we need only fill it up once per day, even double shifted, because the fuel tanks are large. I fill it up about not long after my shift starts, and its usually about 1/3 full still. Then I go do my run, swap it with Tammy in the morning, and off she goes.
