Dropped the oil cap into the engine bay.

Had to remove the front bumper valance to get to it!

Just came in from trying to diagnose the brakes on my son's late nineties Ranger. He reports that occasionally the brake pedal is stiff and you half to push hard to get it to brake, and other times the brakes are soft and mushy. I noticed that when I pump the brake pedal there is a big gyser from the rear circuit (closest to the bumper) port that is visible through the plastic reservoir.

I pulled the wheels and inspected the brakes at all for corners. No leaks or anything out of sorts. No codes showing with Forscan. So... load up the parts canon. I ordered a master cylinder and front and back brake hoses.

Since my day trading experiment under @Zee09 ‘s tutelage hasn’t gone as I hoped, I’m back to plotting to defraud the government. Making better progress now that they are back open. I just have to settle on where the threshold is of how much I can take before they notice. Thinking it’s a LOT though.
