What are you doing right now?

Just had breakfast, now watching TV, before I go to work tonight. I leave, whenever the truck makes it back to the yard, as this truck is one of three that are double shifted. The woman who normally drives it at night, broke her leg, and arm, plus a concussion, when she crashed her mountain bike going down a steep hill. So until she is back to work, I'm doing her job, this is week 4. Adjusting to my new sleep schedule has been hard. I usually get up about 5am, but go to bed at 10pm. Now I typically start work around 6 to 7pm, and finish at 6 to 7am. Somedays I sleep well, others barely at all. Today I slept from 8am, till 1pm, hopefully catch a 30 minute nap before work. At least I get to stretch my legs at the refinery, and again at the mine while offloading. Most nights I stop at a 24 hour truck stop, and eat. As it is roughly the same time every night when I get there, I've learned the names of the regulars at the same time, and staff, it can be any 1 of 3 servers on, 2 are awesome, 1 is okay. Other than wildlife on the hwy being more plentiful, and harder to see at night, I actually prefer driving at night, so much less traffic, and it's rather peaceful. The night time driver chat on the radio, seems to be more intelligent than the day time idiots as well. Every night, a guy going the opposite way, and I have a great chat, for about 20 minutes while we are in radio range. He pulls freight for a courier company, and lives well south of me. He backs his trailer up to a loading dock, unhooks it, hooks onto the trailer from the day before, and heads back home to kamloops. Overall its been enjoyable, and I kind of like the change from my typical days. I bring the security guard at the gate, a kit kat bar every night, and she hands me a hot cup of earl grey tea, my favorite, It's the little things. 🙂

Going to Walmart. It’s too dang cold here. 29 feels like 15. Say it will be 23 tomorrow. Too cold for me. Usually we don’t see this type of weather till December or January around here.
It was brutal today in Niagara Falls, I gave a walking tour in 28 degree weather. Three weeks ago it was consistently in the low to mid 70s. When our temperature changes here it always drops so fast! I can’t wait for the spring! I’m not a winter person at all 😥

The only thing I look forward to in the winter is Christmas time. I love Christmas season. That’s also the only time I like snow too is on Christmas.

I’m the same way, I do love seeing the Christmas light displays and decorations and I enjoy seeing snow for a couple of days around Christmas but I’d be happy if it all melted on December 26th 😃

Now I’m cozy and looking at tires for the RAV4, so many choices. I usually go with Uniroyal or Continental or BFGoodrich but I will buy any name brand tire no generic ones. The tires that are on it two are bald and two on the front cheap $65 tires installed by previous owner and do awful in the rain so I need some tires. I tried to get them to replace the tires when I bought it but they changed their mind and didn’t want to replace them so I’m stuck with the expense. The good thing though about them not covering the tires is I get to pick the ones I want and not the ones they want to get. Any used car at work gets Uniroyal Tiger Paw or if it’s a truck it gets General Grabber or if it’s a cash car it gets Mastercraft which are awful. I’ll compare prices of all the ones I’m interested in and compare to my employee price at work and go from there.

Nobodies business at all.
But if you got a Mitsubishi you could have got a new one with a 10 year warranty and cheaper new car financing and at the same price to boot....push button not in lower trims... but it’s your $ of course

Last night I was trading after hours in the stock market and kept moving around. No problems and took a snooze from 4am to 6am and got up and my back was out...

Had to go to the hardware store and was slumped over a bit 😆
A very nice older lady asked me what was wrong and I told her and she kindly told me not to overdo it..

Tonight it's sending killer nerve pains to the toes on my right foot...
Intermittent agony
