Watching the clock at work. I'm off tomorrow and Friday for a much needed mental break. I've become increasingly burned out in my career, and have started mentally preparing for the effort it would take to retire at 60 (I'm 52). I've said previously that I want to work until 70, but lately I'm just not feeling it. The thrill is gone, and it happened fast.

Where do you rank the Toronto Blue Jays?
I don’t think they will win the World Series this year but they will go a couple of rounds in the playoffs

I have them beating the Yankees in the ALDS and then them beating the Tigers in the ALCS but that might be wishful thinking lol. I hope they do well though I want some different teams in the playoffs I’m tired of Dodgers and Yankees.Where do you rank the Toronto Blue Jays?

Exact same for me. I don’t have much love for the Phillies either but I’d take them over Yankees or Dodgers any day.
it seems about the time aluminum tarrifs started comin out on the news the local alcoholics started throwing cans out the window.
there is so many cans on the road now i started picking them up. i fill up my trunk to the top and then throw some more in before the lid comes down every week.
this is starting to be good exercise when i go walking and supplements my food and drink budget nicely.
but, does anybody else do this?
it seems nobody is stopping me from climbing into trash cans with my legs sticking out. but i am getting some $.
i just got home from picking up cans outside a bar.
there is so many cans on the road now i started picking them up. i fill up my trunk to the top and then throw some more in before the lid comes down every week.

Watching the Padres game. So far they are winning. I saw the Cubs clinch the playoffs today. I have them predicted as getting defeated in the wild card round. I don’t care about the Cubs though at least it would be someone different in the playoffs.

Just got back from Costco. My wife likes to get fresh chicken there, I like to people watch because female Costco shoppers are above average. 20# bags of ice at Columbus Costcos are $2.99. Some gas stations charge over $7.

I’m getting ready to eat my Chipotle and maybe catch a bit of the Dodgers-Giants game. Go Giants of course as I hate the Dodgers. Only one night game today which is unusual but all the new series start tomorrow. I hope we can keep the Yankees and Dodgers as far away from the post season as possible lol.
Day 4 of my week off, enjoying the my new front component speaker installation on the 01 Toyota Tundra. Not a lot of install pics from day 2 & 3 because custom work is tedious and bound to run into snafus. It's custom stuff why I put this off for two years lol.
Removing the front seats to get to the amp and speaker crossover bracket.
Removed the old Polk DB6501's and fishing 2x16ga speaker wire through the door boot. This is a higher power system (100w+) so powering the speakers off the factory speaker harness is not recommended.
Kick panels removed and carpet peeled back to route the 6 pairs of speaker cable running under the carpet.
Polk DB6502 component speaker + tweeter installed with door panel reinstalled.
Installing and wiring the crossovers which will go under the passenger seat and not in the doors. Went over the top by terminating all 12 speaker wires lol.
Tidying up wiring job with tesa tape for that factory-esqe look. My first install with the Polk DB6501's 18 years ago was janky (putting the crossovers in the door was causing the front speakers to cut out) so this time I wanted to be through for decades of listening.
