What are you doing right now?

We're working through conditions/inspections on the house we're buying. Today I got a copy of the original 1951 permit for underground oil tank installation. It was a 565 imperial gallon tank (678 US Gallons), which is huge. That would cost over $5K Canadian to fill at today's price.

Next, I got a copy of the 1984 Permit where they installed an above ground tank. Clearly noted on the permit, by the inspector, was that the underground tank was removed as part of the install. There is also a fairly recent scan of the property, with ground penetrating radar, metal scanners, etc...and they found no tanks (and no dead bodies, presumably).

That's one thing off the list!
