Some days it seems one does not even need the sign. Then other days, everyone is in a great mood.
On the rare occasion I am not in a foul mood from aches n pains, I try to kill them with kindness.
Of course some folks seem to be hard wired not to accept it under any circumstances. Get away from those ASAP if you can.
I am truly happy to say, in public , I still encounter more nice, polite people than the miserable who want to pull us down too.

When I had a fireplace in my last house I would mix hackberry with oak wood to make some really nice hot long burning fires. I used to split it by hand with a wedge and a mall. It split like butter. You can not do that with many other woods.

It's very popular here apparently. I've been stacking it by the road and folks have been stopping to pick it up. Free firewood.
 
Also discovered the limits of the Makita 40V XGT 18" chainsaw today. With a fully charged battery and a sharp chain, I could only cut through approx. 20 pieces of 12" diameter wood before the battery was fully drained. For the rest of the tree I'm going to be using my old Craftsman gas saw.
 
I was watching YT and this house came up.. I stayed there 5 years ago and this site has my CMax in the lane pic. I helped these people while I was there but I seen they sold it last year. It was cool with the gun safe...Chimmie took a dump on the pavers....lol

 
I’m riding around. I need to retire with ole Jimmy boy lol. Work was busy and we were short staffed. A bunch of call ins saying they were hung over from week one game one of NFL last night apparently. I mean I like sports but if I know I have to work the next day I don’t drink that’s one of my biggest pet peeves is people that call in for dumb reasons.

Yeah I'm loaded up with work...doing orders now. I think word got out I'm moving although I do no other social media but I prefer too much work right now....it also gets rid of my vast inventory...

At your age I worked all the time but it's different... young people feel like they are losing out as many are having fun all the time at your age. Older folks no longer feel that.
I remember it well.....
