What are you doing right now?

The booze can kill you.
Many could go on and on with this sentence alone.
Intoxicants START by dulling your edge. They really do make one stupid....then things worsen...exponentially.
You can avoid a lot of woe by severely limiting alcohol intake.
Not trying to be a preacher here....just seen it too, too many times. You want names of friends, coworkers, relatives?

A pal in high school said, "Cobwebs become cables". So true. Booze, pot, pills, addiction to sugar/salt foods (no kidding), numbing ones brain with bad TV and radio, porn....and just hanging out with detached abusers who never do anything original.

I firmly believe "society" , while demanding certain behaviors, leaves people to their own devices.
One can go about their business properly and much goes well. However, there's no mechanism out there focused on fulfilling you.
That's up to everyone to do for themselves.
Sometimes enough pieces fall together to contribute to 'happy situations'. Other times you're out in the cold in a heated house!

Make the effort to get out of your comfort zone if that's what it takes.

+1 I've seen the ravages, I lost two dear friends to it, and they thought they had it under control!

Dress nice for every situation- don’t overdress though

Yes get in shape at least to the point of feeling good and being confident

Do some kind of hard aerobic training and pop some Vitamin D. That attitude needs adjusting. Stop feeling crappy and sorry. Aim high and stop thinking like an erse,

AM - do something. Have a real goal. Join the coast guard or armed forces.

Get some hobbies - I mean active hobbies.

Seriously be on the move. Take classes. Do Bible studies. Join a hiking group. Learn calculus. Learn a new art form.

And be confident

My mom was in the Whetsone Park hiking group when she attended OSU.

I'm getting ready to go to my weekly group for the mentally ill. It's called NAMI. I'm pretty much recovered so I give others advice and goof off, leading to the group lead yelling at me every week.

Oh well.

@levi I hope this revised post will put me back in your good graces....

@AutoMechanic
Did you ever think about self deporting.....that could solve many of your issues ..
Self deporting? Nah. But I have thought of going my coworkers route and buying a wife online and having her brought to the states but I like the women from here better lol.

I wouldn’t survive basic training lol. I’d mouth off to someone or do something dumb lol. Almost all on my mom’s side of the family have served but I have no desire to do it.
You might drop of heart attack. Wait, that's the air force. Carrying a mess hall tray.

Army and for sure Marines. Yeah. Tough.

Good chow on a carrier. Navy.

We just left Red Robin. It was good but I wanted Chinese food lol. I don’t care though it was free lol. Time to get soda at the gas station. I’ve been drinking too much soda recently but it’s hard when I’m stressed and lonely so I figure soda is better than alcohol.

Since it is apparently give AM unsolicited advice day…. Coke Zero!

Stuff is so good I prefer it over original and has me wondering how on earth they manage to sell ANY Diet Coke.

No more than 1 a day though. Important.
