$279/month for cable ... whaaaat? I cut the cable like 5 years ago when it was only $100/month and saved enough to buy a new motorcycle and a good $200 Android with a $20/month plan. There is so much over the air and free streaming that there's always something to watch.

At least I don’t pay for it lol. I only pay car insurance and that’s it. Currently saving for vacation. Paying the credit cards down too. I’d never pay that price for cable. I do streaming and pay under $100 a month.

Yeah $180 of that is the remote and box. I would never pay that much for it. I use streaming I’ve got tons of services even premium subscriptions for under $100. Stuff like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, MLB Channel (which is expensive but it’s the no blackout restrictions package), Paramount Plus etc. I guess you could say I pay over $100 when it’s baseball season but it’s a one time fee for the year.

Yesterday I dug a trench for the dirt to use as fill and to improve the drainage in that area by my shed and driveway. I got to thinking how easy to dig it was as it was sandy loam silt. Really black dirt. And realized comes from when it floods here and occasionally the river gets high enough to bring a current in with silt.

So I decided to put another 30' of drain tile in the trench and fill it, leaving a drainage channel. It's got a high gravel drive along one side and a shed where the rain comes off it and has no where to go. I taped in to a 90 of the tile I put in in December replaced it with a tee. Good to see it was wet inside and doing it's job.

We are picking up Popeyes chicken for dinner. Popeyes and Bojangles dominate this area. KFC is my least favorite chicken place so we don’t even consider there lol. I just want to relax afterwards and after we go to the gas station because I’m exhausted we were swamped at work. I’m going to watch a movie tonight just haven’t decided which one.

Talking to pops about vacation. I want him to hurry up and decide where we are going so I can get the hotel and tickets reserved. It’s nice to be able to get about a 50% discount thru my work. I really want to go to Atlanta but that’s pretty much an automatic no go for him unfortunately. Even though the new stadium down there is like 11 miles outside of the actual city. Baltimore or DC are my main choices probably especially since they will be playing my favorite team that week. He always takes so long to decide it kinda drives me nuts lol. Cleveland and Philadelphia are also contenders and possibly New York Yankees or Mets. I was really counting on my tax money this year but I actually am not getting a refund I had to pay $1 lol. So I guess I paid the correct amount mostly. Really disappointed about not getting any money back though. I’ve got one of my credit cards almost to nothing and I will be using it and paying it off right away just for the travel rewards on it.

We are just riding around. Every place is a ghost town I guess everyone getting ready for the game tonight. I won’t be watching but everyone else I know is. The people who I have seen in the store so far this morning were all mostly wearing 49ers gear. I don’t know anything about football but I just hope the Chiefs win but either way I’m not watching it. Football is boring at least on TV lol. Hopefully we go to Hardee’s for breakfast I’m so tired of setting down in restaurants and taking forever. I just want some good breakfast which is Hardee’s.

Its a beautiful day over here in west central Sask! 0C, bright sun with a perfect amount of powder on the ground. Had a neighbor join my youngest daughter and I for a spirited rip in the sleds. Burnt lots of fuel, made some nice smoke and several miles on the trails.

My oldest daughter took part in a cattle sorting clinic. Rode a couple of different horses through it and had a blast. She's quite talented and did very well.

Ribs on the Traeger and some steak marinating for later. Its shaping up to be a great Sunday.

We are picking up wings. Not watching the game but still an excuse to get fancy food lol. Teriyaki wings of course as that’s the only flavor that should be allowed on wings lol. We got the 20/20 bundle 20 boneless and 20 bone in. Dad eats the bone in me and mom like boneless his is buffalo and ours are teriyaki. Had to wait 40 minutes here in the crowded lobby of Buffalo Wild Wings. Every other place is like a ghost town which is nice.

I agree however we like going out and the price isn’t inflated at the restaurant like it is on the food apps. We considered that option beforehand. We tried to order on the places website too but it wouldn’t go thru. We are at Popeyes now cause dad wanted more wings.
