What are you doing right now?

Dang haven’t seen someone with an LG phone in a long time lol. I had one and it sucked but for a first smartphone it was ok.
This LG K20 Plus has been a good phone. Paid $10 for it when I signed up with the service provider. Put one $15 battery (bough on Amazon) in it last year - 30 second job with no tools required. Find a phone like that today ... can't, they make $1000+ phones basically disposable when the battery goes bad.

Pretty good ROI I do think, lol. It still works good today, but with more Apps on it I need more internal memory and RAM. I mean I could probably use it until they discontinue 4G, lol.

You could but at that point it is much easier to get hacked into and have all your information stolen. Security is a big problem on Samsung anyway so I deem them not safe the minute the phone is activated.
That may be. I've never had a problem but I don't have banking or other sensitive stuff on my phone. And I don't use it 24/7 like so many do who can't put it down for 5 minutes. I've never known anyone who got phone hacked either though. Some added security in not being a slave to a device I guess.

That’s true. Supposedly you can replace the battery in iPhone with the tools they sell but I haven’t attempted and don’t want too lol. I want simplicity but you can’t get it anymore. Same with cars lol. The K4 and all my flip and slide phones all had batteries as you describe. So did my Galaxy J3 Eclipse which I still have on display in my phone collection lol.

Most new major brand phones have security updates being pushed to the phone quite often, like at least every month or more often if needed. Looking on the web, Samsung for instance pushes updates at least once a month.

Digging around county records. I actually found all the construction details for our septic system. They must not have been scanned before or some covid excuse. They all look fine, but I was cranky a few years ago when "no such records exist". I mean 2014 is not Neolithic. Anyway, no current problems and the records are very detailed.............so happy about sewage..........handling.......never mind

I'm preparing a funeral at sea via a good flush. My wife came across this puppy in the garage. Looks quite dead to me. There are tarantulas in the Bay Area but not in Marin as far as I know. Yet here we are. Maybe an escaped pet. For scale consider the jar is 4 inches across.

Please forgive my insensitive, but not particularly off topic comment here.

But as to what am I doing right now?

Feeling like Steve Martin in, The Jerk. "The new phone books are here, the new phone books are here. I'm somebody!"

User replaceable phone batteries will soon be back. Mandatory by 2027 in some places and the manufacturers won't make two versions. Other devices will also have to have user replaceable batteries.

I’m eating pizza and looking at Apple Watches online. I want another one since I sold mine that my friend gave me. Hopefully my parents can get me one for my birthday since I’m using my tax money for vacation. I want the red one so bad. Even if it’s a year or two old. I never thought I’d like an Apple Watch but I sure do. I just need one bigger than 40mm. I really hope they can get me a product red one though. Looking forward to my birthday anyway in April at least it will be warmer and baseball season.

Learning new skills, dropped $600 on new welding equipment. First project will be making modifications to tractor engine mounts. The wife is salivating.

Working on my training at work. It’s nice for the over time. I could never sit in front of a computer screen all day for my job though so I’m glad most of the time I’m working on the car and not typing something on the computer. My computer is currently buffering like all the computers here do because they are old. All 2011 models all in one computers. Hopefully they upgrade us soon. We have been asking for 2 years now. So I’m reading the forum and looking at Apple Watches and vacation spots lol.

I just put some chickpeas into the pressure cooker. They had been soaking for about eight hours. When they're done, in about 30 minutes, I'll store some and use some to make Pasta e Ceci.

I'll provide some pics. It turned out that the shop I went to didn't have the pasta. I'll have to order it online.
@GSCJR ... the Fregola arrived today. I'll make the dish tomorrow or Friday and will post pics when it's done. Meanwhile,
