Trying to decide what to have for dinner. I want steak and an ice cold beer or mixed drink lol. So I might just go get me a steak and chill out and watch baseball.

Well rain cancelled the steak plan. Wasn’t supposed to rain till 9:30. So now we are trying to decide a place to eat. A never ending battle at my house. I want Chinese or steak and one person wants hotdogs and spaghetti and the other one wants none of that lol.

Watching the Houston Astros @ Oakland Athletics game. It’s 2-1 Houston heading into the bottom of the 8th now. The Athletics and Royals and Rockies are the three worst teams in baseball right now. It’s a shame because I like the Athletics and Rockies pretty well. The Royals are ok as well. But you won’t be seeing any of those teams in the World Series that’s for sure lol.

Recently we had a storm coming thru our area, and the pop up tent that sits on outside was blown off by gusty winds and rip the window screen on one of the house windows; bought all the parts at THD for $11 and replaced it few moments ago; super easy DIY

Getting ready to head to the Y with son for family swim. Nope, we don’t belong to a club. No lie found out from a friend as son went on Monday to their club. $800 for basic plan. But as such, nowhere to find shade. $2000 for a cabana. I think this means $1200 upgrade, not in addition. $250 for a parking space. All for Memorial Day to Labor Day. That’s a lot of money to me, we’ll stick with the Y

Watching the Houston Astros @ Oakland Athletics. I like both teams so I want the Astros to win but I also want Oakland to win but they are the worst team in the MLB right now. Just finished watching the Pittsburgh Pirates @ Los Angeles Angels it was 3-0 Pittsburgh tonight first time in over 2 months that Pittsburgh shut a team out. Next week I’ll have a hat for both of those teams as my Angels hat should be here by Tuesday. Right now in Oakland it’s 4-1 A’s ahead of Astros.

Rolled into Appalachia country last night for a week long vacation with the lady friend. She rented a nice little house on the side of mountain in a little town near Galax, VA. Neighbors are very friendly so far and one even gave us the rundown of the history of town and the house we're staying in.

So far so good, just waiting for a sunnier day to hike along the river/mountains.

I'll have to check that out. I've been the Car Museum at Luray Caverns but didn't realize there was one close by here. I know one thing I absolutely have to do is go to Grayson Highlands State Park and walk to the top of Mount Rogers.

I am drinking a glass of half and half trying to get dad motivated to do something. Once you get him glued to his phone it’s like you’re talking to a wall. Me and mom have been trying all morning lol. I already washed and detailed my car. It’s getting ready to pour down rain so trying to get out of the house before then. Hopefully I can talk him into Chinese food today I don’t have any money and am having withdrawals from Chinese lol.

I’m researching the iPhone 15 Pro leaks. Waiting for them to release it in September.
I have to have someone on standby to order it for me because they will be in short supply due to a screen shortage. I never knew Apple sourced parts from people like LG. That’s extremely disappointing because of how bad of a product LG makes. I want nothing android related on my iPhone. Really hoping they don’t make it with USB-C either. And hopefully they will have blue. I can either spend an entire paycheck on it or get a credit card from Apple I’ll probably get the credit card. Because I want to pay for this one and not rely on someone else too. But I currently have the 12 Pro so definitely have to upgrade the charging port is loose and it’s annoying.
I was due for a new phone in May but want to wait for this new one.

I just mowed three properties and on the last one I was just about done and the neighbors 23 year old daughter walked out to sun with a black thong on. I guess the shrubs will grow back....

We dropped by Cranks and I was astonished. He has a more impressive collection than Luray Caverns.
