What are you doing right now?

So the interview was good?
Very good. "I got hired."

I've been advised that it is best to remain mum and say less, since it looks like I will be in Federal employment.. aside from me doing "two competing agencies" (I've been told it as simple as declining the opportunity from one, if it comes to that, to accept FJO from the other..) yes, I'm on eQIP now.

Now to see what the technical error is in getting my medical appointment scheduled, this could go very quickly and be done so I can get to work... things looking very good..

8:20a.m.: Medical appointment scheduled.

Trying to educate myself on gear oil lol. Want to change the manual transmission gear oil in my truck but I need a GL-4 80W-90 which I can’t find at Walmart lol. It needs that because of the brass synchronizers. Probably will hit up some parts stores in Pittsburgh. I’m going to be working on all my cars this coming week as I’m officially on vacation.

If all else fails, plenty of options on Amazon. If the new 80W-90 is GL-5, then even better than GL-4.

Glad to know there is still options. I can’t find much information but the Mazda forums all say the GL-5 has too many additives in it and it’s too heavy for the brass but then again it could be anybody posting that lol.

Seems to be some truth to that. Searching Amazon, there are not very many options for a 80W-90 GL-4. So finding it at some store on the shelf may be slim to none. Probably will have to order it from someplace unless you're lucky.

I'm doing a little social experiment. Taking a hiatus from social media to see who actually reaches out to me to get together, have a phone conversation, grab a beer, etc. Trying to separate my superficial friendships from my real ones.

bitog is my only social media I‘m on, so I’m guessing I’d be lonely if I tried this. good luck. :)

Sitting on my couch, trying to convince myself to stop looking for my next car, and to go do something productive. Will be killing time until 5, then take a short bike ride, then dinner, the see what didn’t stand the test of time on IDoCars tonight.
