What are you doing right now?

Going to go to Walmart and select another quart of oil, really not sure which one since they are all at least $5 and the Mobil 1 0W-30 ESP may be attractive to me until my preferred fill, which is now @High Performance Lubricants and perhaps their 0W-30 and specific products with them. Began to read on here about the Ford Bronco oil capacity inconsistencies and I DO have to admit that when my shop "overfills" my engine with oil, it runs perfectly.. and that they may be getting a different fill capacity specification than what the manufacturer says, or again a different one.. still reading that thread, shifting gears and woo-sah from some of my more testy interactions with some members here, at times. Almost to the level of Bakes My Bagels but not really. Words on a screen don't make me infuriated or control my life anymore.

I’m oiling up and conditioning my baseball gloves. Very important to keep them in good shape even though I don’t use them anymore I still like to occasionally throw a ball or do whatever. I really miss playing baseball I was a catcher and occasionally had to play 1st or 3rd base. I had a good arm it’s very rare that I didn’t throw someone out trying to steal second or third lol. Never could do middle infield and refused to do outfield lol. And pitchers can’t play any other positions. My least favorite thing in baseball is hitting.
 
Getting ready to go to Lowes. I also need to go to Harbor Freight and Auto Zone but as long as we go to Lowes that’s fine because I have to replace my coworkers socket from Lowes. I could get what I need at Lowes too but I’m not paying $5 more per thing. And Auto Zone I need to go to because I need to replace one of my own sockets that I lost last night disconnecting a battery in my brother in laws car. I had a quick release ratchet which I hate and I didn’t have the socket on all the way and it popped off. It happens. I’ve lost three tools this year probably a new record for me lol 😂.
 
Out with the dog. She can’t seem to listen tonight so I’m going to put her in time out for tonight. It’s 11:02 pm (now later as I type lol) and I still see a couple trick or treaters out and several lights still on including ours. Our last ones were about 10:30. We always have late treaters here which doesn’t bother me I’d stay up all night if I didn’t have to work. The World Series got rained out tonight unfortunately but it was good so that way the trick or treaters didn’t keep interrupting my baseball game lol. This is the most we have had in at least 10-12 years. It’s also a lot warmer than it has been in a long time too. It’s mainly older kids and adults out now the little kids all came out earlier. On my way home from work I had a little girl run out right in front of me. Luckily I was going slow enough to stop and luckily I seen her coming despite the sun beating down in my eyes. She was close too when I come to a stop the ABS kicked on because I laid on the pedal to make sure I avoided her. Despite going low speed it was still scary. She couldn’t of been older than 7 or 8. I didn’t see anyone with her then I got to the bottom of the hill and her mom was there waiting on her. I hate driving on Halloween cause like the holiday it always is scary lol. That was the second close call I had the first was almost creamed someone who cut me off trying to avoid the stopped cop car in the middle of the road. People can’t drive anymore I swear.

I’m also going to get a shower now too. It’s 11:26 now and I’ll probably be up till at least 1 as usual because I can’t ever sleep lol. But still like to get my shower done and over with.
 
Looking at license plates on eBay. Bought two sets one New Hampshire set and one California set. Both of which I needed for my collection. Still looking for all the missing states too. I was going to order more Virginia samples but I have to save a little money plus I’m going to the antique store this weekend to see what I can find.
 
Just watched the Astros win the World Series. I’m happy for their manager he has managed many teams for several years and this is his first World Series win. Would of liked to have seen game 7 but oh well I’m happy they won.

I'm listening to radio traffic of a call that was just dispatched to the city police here.

Someone calling that they can't control their 8 year old and needs POLICE HELP, and that the kid does it every day.

Sadly, this is more common than you'd think in this county. A few of them are genuinely troubled kids with autism and the like...but not all.
 
I’m just laying here at the current moment and browsing tools and license plates on eBay lol. And there is an awesome member here who is sending me a few for my collection. I also ordered two North Carolina plates too. One standard and one First in Freedom. Both in good shape. Still on the hunt for the somewhat rare NC watermelon license plate. Been on the hunt since I first seen one. And I’ll say again if anyone has plates they want to get rid of just let me know. Still some states I’m missing.

I’m looking at license plates online. Looking only right now cause I’ve went over my budget this week on plates lol 😂. I have to ship out money and a tool I sold tomorrow so I’ll do that then I have a guy meeting next week on payday for more plates. Needless to say I’m addicted to tools and license plates now lol. I also have another member who is sending me a few for nothing which is really nice of him. And I have a guy meeting me at my work on Friday he has some stuff I am going to get too. I will probably end up buying more anyway lol 😂. When I get to all 50 states and all Canada plates then I might stop lol. Nah I will never stop haha.
