What are you doing right now?

Just finished off the leftover cheese enchiladas from our dinner out Sunday night right before the storm. I remember her waking me up asking me what all the noise was, it was the ice pounding the windows.

I made some cheese quesadillas to go along with the leftover enchiladas.
 
Just got home from getting new tires on the van and looking at electricitymap.

Just sitting here. Another slow day at work because we can’t get parts we need it sucks. Probably go home soon and just chill out and get ready for class tonight if they don’t cancel since it’s supposed to freeze and we still have ice everywhere.
 
Taking measurements for a new toilet. Existing rough opening measured 10 1/2". New toilets are standard 12" RO.

Don't feel like busting concrete and cosplaying plumber on my vacation. I'll just replace the cracking toilet seat.
 
Sitting here reading about the passing of Rush Limbaugh. It's going to be so weird not hearing his voice on the radio every day. I listened to him at work every day.

We just got our power back on thank God.

Agreed. He spawned a whole genre and a thousand imitators, but no one will fill his shoes or have the impact he's had for the past 30 years.
 
I'm currently trying to figure out dinner. My wife and I had a dinner reservation on Valentine's day at the nicest place in town, but we had to move the reservation because our babysitter bailed on us last minute. We moved it to tonight, but found this morning that my MIL tested positive for the Chinese bat flu and she was over here all day Monday. So... we have to quarantine. So no dinner reservation, but that's been the least of my worries today until now.

I remember my dad listening to him every day. He would have every radio on in the house playing his show so when he went room to room he wouldn't miss anything haha. This was probably around the time I was a senior in high school or fresh out (late 1980s). Then I started listening to him when I realized just how bad the music was that radio stations were playing. I became addicted to his show. Listening to him was as if you were sitting there with him having a conversation with him. He honestly became part of the family.

RIP Rush. You will be missed more than you can imagine.

I was looking forward to some meaty 🌶 chili - but my son scarfed up all the cornbread 😕
