What was their reason for refusal?Shopping. Kroger refused to take a $2 bill so I had to use my card. Not that it was a problem I just wish they would educate people on money. Me and my dad spend $2 bills almost daily but we always use self checkout never one of the people.
Cashier and manager had no clue what it was. Both appeared to be younger so not surprising really I guess. I even showed them online that they are real and still made they looked at me and handed it back saying can’t accept Monopoly money.
You should've laid down enough $2 bills to cover the total and walked out with your groceries.
I was tempted too lol. Had the same thing happen at McDonald’s last week and the manager at least knew what it was and told the cashier it was real and they were absolutely stumped.
Imagine if you handed them some of those gold dollar coins or some Susan B Anthony dollars!!
