What are you doing right now?

I just had a Zoom meeting with an applicant for another tour guide position at my company. We are expecting a busy season so it’s nice to have a lot of extra people on hand who are willing to work on a part time basis as needed. We were so impressed that we already sent an email to this applicant offering him the position. He seems like a great addition to our team and he was born and raised in the Niagara area so that helps immensely when people ask for recommendations for things like where to eat or what places to visit nearby

Does he eat a lot?

Gave up on helping Amazon driver stuck in the mud. Rental truck too. Guy really doesn’t know how to drive and just keeps flooring it. I told him to call someone. Near bald rears on a rental? Priceless.

Just paid my car payment, made payments on all my credit cards too. Paid off the ones I could. It’s nice to actually be able to use my own money for stuff I want. My parents always tell me they are jealous of me because I make more than both of them combined both per check and yearly lol. Plus I’m waiting on my $404 tax refund. The $404 is either going to pay some on cards or all go into my savings because I’m saving for a down payment on a house and just to save in general too. My financial nerd friend told me always have $1,000 on hand for unexpected expenses and then a few months salary in case something happens.

What? ... I thought money from credit cards was free. Well, guess it is if someone doesn't pay them and files for bankruptcy. 😄

What's a starter home go for in Roanoke?

Se have had quite a yo yo spring around here. -40 one week, melting the next and so on. We have a few horse paddocks that are in low areas, which unfortunately have been submerged. Currently we have a 2" trash pump running and draining what we can. Its messy work but has to get done. It was 10c yesterday, barely melting today and back to freezing tonight and double digit negatives next week.

Going to town soon for more discharge hose and couplings. Going to melt the pump down if I can help it.
