What are you doing right now?

Looking at my thumb and thinking I could have stitched it one handed better myself.

An old fella at church told me he does all his own stitches plus his dogs, horses, grandkids, etc, all with just ice for anesthesia. I'm guessing his grandkids never play with knives more than once. Probably not the dogs, either.

Yep. It didn't hurt, it just wouldn't stop bleeding or I wouldn't have gone to Urgent Care. Darn baby aspirin every night I guess.

Kinda my point, not so much to put your new machine down.

I'm irked because doc takes one reading. Spot on, good health. Two seconds later, ooooh high, take pills.........

My problem with the doctors office is that they don’t do it correctly. You get weighed, marched into a room, plopped down into a chair with no worthwhile arm support, immediately asked questions while the cuff is being strapped up in questionable fashion, and there you go. 🙄
I took mine into the doctors office and tested it against theirs and it was very close. My BP is always normal at home when I check it, but when I go there and get herded around like an animal being led to slaughter, it goes up a bit. (White coat syndrome?)

I do hate going to the doctor, that’s why I rarely go, except for yearly bloodwork.
I simply do not trust them. Medicine in this country is a big business.

I’m eating dinner and surfing BITOG. Turned good time today at work so I feel pretty good about that. I miss baseball lol. Baseball was my relaxing time.

We had this customer yesterday at work who came looking for my RAV4 and was disappointed to hear it sold. So she test drove the 2WD one that’s the same color because she wants that color and they got her a price that she could finance with her credit then she decided well since you didn’t have what I wanted I need you to match the price here for a new one or have your employee give me his since I looked at it first. They are like that’s not how it works ma’am. What it was is she had the tab opened on her phone from where she’d looked at mine online before I bought it and hadn’t closed the tab. She was very mad she couldn’t get a brand new RAV4 for the same price lol. I thought I’d share that as my funny work story of the day. When my salesman told me that I got a good laugh out of it.

I took a couple of more blood pressure readings today and even though they were spaced a few hours apart they were very consistent so I’m happy about that. I was reading some reviews about the monitor I have and they say it’s very accurate. Only cost me $45 ($32

Answering a bunch of urgent questions from my beloved project manager...things she should know if she's really managing the project. Methinks she's prepping for a meeting since we haven't messaged all week.

Normally you'd be retired aready
I’ve been ready to do that since 7:31 because work started at 7:30 lol. Got this new guy in the shop who was hired as a technician helper yesterday he caught the drain on fire welding and today he caught a trashcan on fire by being scared of the butane torch and tossing it in the trash. Now I’m officially ready to retire.

Helpers are seldom that.
Working alone is the only way to roll.

I worked with my father for 13 years
We worked together and the rest of the crew wanted nothing to do with us because we worked hard. My father was 30 years my senior and did the worst jobs so his crew wouldn't complain... he owned the business. He was a pleasure to work with..

He's been gone 10 years today.... 11/7/15
