What are you doing right now?

Not 18 holes on a pro course, mini golf.
It’s fun, you laugh, she laughs, nobody takes mini golf seriously. It cost about $6 a person, they lend you a putter and ball for that price to.
Oh nice. I could probably do that it doesn’t seem too old man like regular golf lol. I need to get out more I just don’t know how to or what to do.

I just got back from doing one of my historical walking tours of Niagara on the Lake. What’s interesting is that nobody had booked one of my tours in a month but then today I had two separate couples that booked a tour for the same time slot! I’m glad that I didn’t forget any of my facts and stories 🤪
I normally have to drive a 160 mile round trip to get here to give one of these tours but because I’m staying here in town for the whole month I only had to walk 5 minutes to get to the starting point of the tour 😃 My long term plan is to move here to this town though, I love it here ☺️

Just humped 6/50 pound bags of rock salt from outside storage to the boiler room at work. Expecting some sort of snow/rain tomorrow. Had a ice/snow Sunday night blew through 5 bags of rock salt usually I go through 2.

Have weather tomorrow. Daughter's high school proactively called it a snow day, so she plans to sleep in; at work today I was going to tell the boss that I wasn't coming in tomorrow but he beat me to the punch and said it was a work from home day. So tomorrow will be alternating between work and shoveling snow.

At the moment I'm just getting the computer fired up. I want to get a bit of work done, out in the mail for people to review at their leisure tomorrow. Then I'm not sure, probably play with some audio amplifiers or something.

I’m just about to head out the door soon to give another historical walking tour of Niagara on the Lake. I have a couple from Ontario who treated each of their moms to a weekend in this beautiful town as a Christmas present and they are interested in knowing more about the cool history here. I really love giving these tours, I meet some great people and it’s really good money too ($30 an hour plus tips)

Tested out the generator; it decided it didn’t want to run. Too long since its last start? not sure. Should order a new plug for it, just in case.

Made the mistake of contacting a local Nissan dealer a couple weeks ago, they keep sending emails now. I should unsubscribe or something. I still want another vehicle but haven’t figured it out yet. Have to go into work again on Monday so yet another time four people go four ways with only three cars.

More snow to move tomorrow. Should be fun.

Check out a Honda Ridgeline before making a final decision. Excellent ride and quiet. Large waterproof locking trunk in the back that can also be turned into a giant cooler for tailgating. Really a nice vehicle. Good luck deciding.

I've thought about those; it's all the bits after 100k that worry me. I like the idea and if Toyota had done it--I'd own one already. But they seem a bit problematic as the miles rack up, if not problematic then just that much more to fix if something goes. Next 5 years is spent paying for college, so something that gets decent mpg while not having threat of expensive repairs looming is heavy on my mind.

I do miss my pickup... but a Tundra was just too big.

I don't know that it will win any mpg awards but it definitely beats a Tundra, at least based on what my Tundra owning friend says. Good luck figuring it all out.

Helped my wife and her crew host a cattle sorting event. Was a busy but fun day. My 16 year old was able to compete and had a great time.

The weather was a bit warmer than expected so I was able to burn a few miles in the fresh powder.

As well we have a homemade lasagna in the oven, thanks to some amazing friends. There are beef and pork ribs brining in the fridge for tomorrow as well. It's the last decent day before the cold comes back.

Went to the antique store earlier now just going out for sodas, food and to Walmart lol. I’ve been talking to this girl for a few days and we went out on a date and she said she wants to continue with getting to know me and possibly start officially dating. She is supportive of my hobbies, we agree on a lot of things pretty much everything except she likes to read lol. I’m terrified to tell my parents though because they would probably flip over the fact I met her on a dating site. She knows that I live with my parents and that I collect DVDs and love SpongeBob and she is ok with all of that and we vibe on things like road trips, restaurants and eating at home. She’s a reader I’m not but I told her we can certainly come to some sort of agreement for quiet time lol. I think I’ve never been more scared or more nervous in my life first meeting the girl now having to tell my parents lol. They kinda know something is up when I told them I wasn’t coming in for dinner one day I just told them it was a friend lol. The best thing was the date was Taco Bell in my car lol. She told me her golden rule is honesty no matter what and that’s mine too. I hope everything works out and I hope I man up enough to tell my parents lol. And I have to man up and drive too lol 😂 cause this girl is a freshman in college and don’t have a car lol.
