what android phone has all the bands to use on the major carriers

Don't you usually have to pay more for an unlocked version so it depends on what services are available in your area. Around here that is Verizon, that is why I use Tracfone since it's cheaper.
My Moto G Optimo lasted 26 months, I unplugged it from charging and all that would come up is a blue screen with vertical white lines. At that point I said I'm done spending $100+ on a phone for what I do with them. Found a Moto G Pure at Wally for $52, same phone unlocked is $159.

I use a pixel 3a and it has had zero issues. I was surprised that Google is not including the Pixel 3a as a eligible model for it' new android version release. That was one of the selling points of the pixel.
I went to the pixel over Samsung about three years ago. The Samsung had bloat ware installed and was not removable. I like to keep things like smart phones as simple as possible, not being forced to have bloat ware apps.
My next phone will likely be a iPhone, simply as a protest to Google collecting, then selling my data under the guise of "testing". Seems every day they are trying to get to my pictures, my movement history, etc.
And for the record, I only buy new, unlocked phones and use att prepay plan. I hate the unessary contracts for cell phones. How I wish there was a fourth player in the cell phone industry that owned their own towers and didn't play games and tricks.

Yeah but if you have an unlocked phone it will work with any carrier.
The Pixel and flagship Samsung phones generally have all bands for all carriers.
Samsung makes carrier locked and unlocked models. It is best to get the unlocked model for maximum flexibility.
If buying an unlocked phone, be very careful if you're not buying it direct from the manufacturer. I've seen so called unlocked phones on ebay priced attractively, but they were the "international" model and not the US model. The international models usually lack many US bands, including, but not limited to T-Mobile 600 MHz band 71.
I always buy my phones direct from the manufacturer. I just purchased an unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 4 from Samsung. Prior to purchase, l verified that it supported all T-Mobile 4g LTE and 5G bands as well as VoLTE and wifi calling as my current service runs on TMO.

Apple has the best unified modem support, so aside from select global regions (very few) you can absolutely travel knowing your phone will get network coverage.
