I don't get the obsession with post count. Some people post all kinds of silly topics, even recently. Makes me think its only to up the post count. But why does post count matter? OCD?

I generally don't pay much attention to post count or care about it one way or the other. It was noted with reference to Stevie's most recent return because he racked up ~2700 posts from return in early Oct., till his exodus in mid December.
