Walking shoes, what's comfortable in reliable nowadays?

Those look very comfy but that’s a $200 shoe up here đŸ˜¥

Those brands and others at full retail is a no-go for me. Slickdeals posts-up shoe deals all the time, I just picked these up online.

Realize the OP has an EEEE foot width. Merrells, brooks, etc are way too narrow, at least in my findings. I have feet like fred flintstone.

HushPuppies Guss use to be a very comfortable shoe. Key words being "used to be". Someone decided to make them cheaper and lost the whole quality of the shoe.

Things change with time. I get it.

The walking shoe thread , we have here on bob is the oil guy it's becoming outdated, and it's also closed.

Having a left foot and ankle that has problems from a childhood accident, a comfortable light-weight every-day-use shoe is a huge thing for me.

So, what shoe(s) do you find to be outstanding in comfort for every-day-use nowdays.

I have worn the Brooks Beast model for a few years now...very lightweight and comfortable with some stability. Breathable and fairly durable for their lightweight.

I’ve never been disappointed with New Balance
Ecco is another great brand
Both primarily sneakers I’m not sure about the Shoes

For hiking type waterproof, low boots/shoes. For me personally nothing beats Merrill with Vibram souls
