Went to my local AutoZone, and asked for German Castrol. Three different employees and none of them had a clue what I was talking about. I told them it was made in Germany (on the back label), was green in color, etc. They were still clueless.quote:

I have only heard of one AutoZone employee anywhere that knew a thing about it. Even Castrol will tell you there's no such thing as GC. You will almost certainly never meet another soul (except those that frequent these forums) that will have a clue as to what you are talking about.quote:

Could this be a regional thing? I live in Atlanta.
P.S. Noticed some 0W20 on the shelf - forget what brand. Who in his right mind would run 0W20 in this climate? It rarely gets below 20F and often is in the 90's. Makes me think that AutoZone doesn't pay much attention to what stock is put on the shelves.
