We've had acetone and ATF in our vocabulary for ever. Just say that in 10 seconds or less.
I don't care that some guy uses questionable lingo. The drag here is that the guy made an inexcusably long, shaky cam, long winded video.
The only good part was the bubbling of the fluid as it worked. Kira

I don't generally bother to watch vids on this type of topic. If you can't put something simple like this in written words (how hard can it be?) it probably isn't worth watching your movie.
I use aluminium (eg coke can, arrow shaft, foil), often in a drill chuck. If you add some veg oil once you've abraded off the worst of the rust, it forms a protective slow-drying paint.
