Your car requires 502/505 not SP, I'd keep it and gladly run it, will make Zero difference if it is SP. You do you but sounds like your mind was made up already at your 1st post.
Absolutely irrelevant in his application, and all those approvals are far more stringent than API SP, SN+, SN, or whatever.
API SP or SN are the least stringent specifications on that list.

Well, VOAs for both Valvoline 5W40 versions show that, as expected, the SP has much more Moly and more Boron. Less Calcium and more Magnesium (not sure German engines suffer from LSPI). So going by an uneducated guess, the SP version could make the engine feel and sound smoother due to Moly and Boron helping reduce friction.
