Walmart oil prices - Ah!

After saw this , I stop by Walmart sure enought oil price went up too much. I bought Quaker state full syn for $20. I saw a new sticker lay over for $29. I peel it off and sure enought it’s a big jump.

I guess I will buy oil deals at part store again. Hope fully they not jump to higher price .

I'd be running at the very least the most robust 5W-30 in that car but that's just me.

Someone will be in for a surprise at the checkout when they think it's $20.97 based on the defaced sticker, lol.

Castrol on rollback online - many flavors. The Walmart game playing begins.

Very interesting! As someone who isnt risk averse on ebay, how do these play out?
Like anything else one buys on (fe)eBay-when it shows, look VERY CLOSELY for any signs of a counterfeit, or used oil. or any other funny business. eBay is actually very good at refunding for damaged or counterfeit goods, at least as good as AMZN.

$29.97 for QS HM synthetic is crazy when AAP is blowing out PP 10W30 for $18.95 all day long, with a FREE $15.99 CQ Premium filter of your choice included, and a $20 rebate on 2 jugs! $17.90 AR for 2 jugs & 2 full syn filters?!? COUNT ME IN!

Showing $32 online - still a good price for what it is …
These regional price discrepancies have been showing up all week. I’m sure your price will be mine soon enough.
Interesting. Different here?
I searched 4 "local" Walmart's on line after @Duukt mentioned the details. The other 3 were at higher price but the one he listed was at "original". These are all within 30 miles of each other and all on my way home from work. I ordered a 3 pack of 5qt jugs of 0W-20 for pick up Monday morning just because I have no willpower.

Added thought on the "taking advantage". Maybe they did mean to leave it that way or on some listed lower price to move inventory. Many places do that with other clearance / door buster other sales. Would you go and buy it if it was listed at full price? Companies pay a lot for storing inventory plus what they paid. They may want to move it out for that reason. Cheaper price gets more customers. I know I have bought many things I was "watching" but really not mandatory yet and then a flash deal comes and I'm like save a bunch of $$$ over stuff I might need at full price in 3 months (like tires).

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

This.

You can also get the PP 5W-40 Euro on the filter deal. Now that Wally has raised the price on the QS Euro 5W-40, I’ll take the points and the free filter from AAP. They wouldn’t honor the $10 rebate on mine as it can’t be combined with any other offers.
