Walmart oil prices - Ah!

Out of curiosity I checked out the WM oil isle in Baytown TX today. I see NO price increases. SuperTech Full Synthetic at $18.97, Pennzoil full syn at $23.97 etc. Lots of full syns for $25 or less.

Life moves slower in Texas. They'll raise the prices when the employees get back from Buc-ee's.

While reading this thread yesterday, I went to walmart.com to check the price on Mobil 1 EP 0W20 and it was $26.97. Perfect, I'll go out and pick some up tomorrow (today). Checked my shopping cart on Walmart.com from yesterday and it's been updated....$35.97.

Delvac is still $70 a bucket. If your car cant use it get a different car.

Valvoline Restore and Protect also went up in price at RockAuto was around 27-28 bucks per 5 quart now up at around 35 bucks each now.

Yesterday at work I did some checking. Not Walmart just saying it’s not just Walmart.

House brand full syn high mileage, not on sale.

January 2026: Quart $7.99, 5Q 28.99.

I watched 4 liters of Ravenol 8HP ATF go from 68 euro to 105 euro over the last month. Luckily I bought before it happened.

Ravenol and Motul are up at LEAST 30% here in Europe and it hurts because it is all I use in my Audi.

Pennzoil PUP 5W30 at my local WM is $39.97.. the prices have definitely jumped

I was thinking about buying some more before the price increases but I have 7 more OCIs for my Impreza, 6 more for the Legacy, 5 more for the CRV plus some other misc oil that I can use like a gallon of AMSOIL Signature Series and 24 quarts of older M1 0W-40. Also 1.5 more quarts of HPL Premium that I use for topping off the Legacy.

"Hoping" by the time I get through it all, prices have come back down.

Me too but, once something like this happens does anything come back down? Used vehicle market has been terrible since the dreaded virus for example.
