Walmart oil $$ increase going to change habbits ??

Junkfood? Heck, there are people who will pay $1-2 for a 12oz bottle of SPRING WATER. I always get a chuckle out of the folks agonizing over that extra 50cents or dollar a quart, especially the ones who keep boasting that they've got a few tens or hundreds of quarts already stashed away 'cuz "it was on sale". Makes it kinda hard to reign in the shoe buying by the missus when you're compulsively hoarding motor oil....LOL
So I guess I'll just continue getting "ripped off" and spend my $20 twice a year on that fancy/expensive synthetic. *shrug*

I think I have seen Prestone distilled water for $3/gal.
No biggie to me.
I usually go for the "5qt + filter" specials when they're offered at Autozone, Kragen, PB, etc. These come in at about the same price per qt. as the Walmart bulk containers.
I'm not too keen on Walmart in general, and none of my local stores sells decent filters.

I stockpiled quite a bit of oil this year, took advantage of sales, rebates, and AAP $10 off coupons. I will be using up my last bit of Amsoil in a few weeks, and then will decide if I want to use it again or try Red Line in my Jeep. As far as the other two vehicles I own go, I don't worry much about what Walmart does. AAP and Auto Zone are pretty much at war so I would expect monthly OC specials including a Mobil 1 or Pure One filter. I pass on the Fram deals. I'll keep my stash well stocked, hand picking the best deals.
