Think it depends on where you are like all else. Some small towns like mine have Walmart workers with the 20 year badges etc. The auto section is run by an ex mechanic who sold his shop for a simple gig …
Most of them are dual income folks anyway and they live within their means.
Homes are not expensive here etc … Millions have it worse …
I for one, I dont mind Walmart at all and I almost bought a single box of 12qts 5W-30... I will do an experiment to see if it is still there in the week between 12/24 and 12/31.
If it is, I am buying it.
If it is not, then, which one of you all got it..
Shelves pretty much packed at my local Menards. They never stock much Mobil anyway, but the Valvoline, Pennzoil, Quaker State, Rotella, FVP, etc. are fully stocked. View attachment 77905
The Wal Mart near the girlfriends place like 5 minutes from Ohio border is a TLE. Always very clean, plenty of helpful staff and never shortages of stuff.
One near my Rural King on other hand is a true hole. Always filthy, hardly anyone there it seems.
I stocked up on some EDGE 0w40 also since it’s on rollback.
Plenty of oil at my local Walmart, but I was looking for a cabin air filter and that was an altogether different situation. Between cabin and engine air filters, they might have a hundred different part numbers.... But all hundred of them were laid out on the shelves in a totally random way. I'm not sure if its because the customers just mess everything up, or if the employees just don't care.
