I posted the following in the "Boat/PWC lubrication" section and didn't get any response. I thought I may try it here..
"Can anyone tell me who makes the Volvo Penta synthetic motor oil??
I live in Georgia...the boat only goes in a fresh water lake...when using the boat this time of year the water temperature is about 50 degrees Fahrenheit..the air temperature in the summer is generally mid-90's...debating on using straight 30 or 15W-50 multi-grade...Volvo Penta says you can use either. It is for a Chevrolet 350 (5.7L). Your thoughts?
