Volvo says copper and aluminium is from oil cooler and maybe charge cooler of the quite new engine.

Base number of used oil was 6.61

Potassium comes most likely from roadsalt or from sea, it spends some time on ro-ro ships open deck because of hazmat loads.
Sea water contains a lot more sodium than potassium and sodium is only 4 ppm. Some road salts contain potassium, but it would also be unusual for an engine to breathe in so much more road salt than dirt (silicon).

Seems like potassium can come from solder flux from oil cooler.

So it seems like oil cooler can give false readings for a very long time.
