Very long OCI/sludge

Despite the title of the thread, in the initial post made by OP and since, there has yet to be any actual knowledge of sludge in the engine, so any recommendations regarding removal of sludge is premature....

The engine had sludge 3 years ago when i changed the oil was very obvious around the oil filter and oil cap.
Currently my plan is to change the oil using
3L 10-30 Semi Synthetic 1L of 15-40 HDEO for 3month/3K with top ups using HDEO
Next after that may be 2L HDEO 2L 10-30
Is mixing a good idea or am i playing with fire?
should i add some rislone Engine conditioner in with these OCIs to keep the pick up clean?

I had my valve cover removed to inspect the engine at the 1st OC after buying my 8-year old camry with 100k miles at the same time I changed out the factory installed plugs...and changed the VC gasket at the same time...it was okay, but KNOWING that is a relief...

Your relative's camry had sludge 3 years/29k km ago and no oil change since, so I'd remove the valve cover (and replace the gasket) and see the condition before doing anything...to show your relative the condition so he/she can understand what(ever) needs to be done...I'd also suggest replacing the PCV valve as it may be clogged, contributing to the problem

Just changed the oil on the car
Turns out the oil was changed a year ago using conventional 25w60 oil.
It was like draining crude oil from the sump came out like honey.
The engine is very sludged I used a mix of 10-30 and 10-40 synthetic blend where should I go next with this ?

Keep doing short oil change intervals in it.
If you wait to long, or go to fast, you will cause a chunk of it to break free and clog something critical.
Kind of like a heart attack, but an engine is not a heart that can recover from the damage.

My only advise is to use a name brand oil.
If you don't want to change the oil every 500 miles, I'd at least do the filter every 500 miles.
I'd also do an autopsy on those filters to see what you are dealing with.

Slow and steady is the name of the game.

The mix you are using should be fine, as long as it is a reputable brand name.
There are several brands that are sold here in the USA in gas stations that have been tested and failed as basic lubricants.

With a name brand you at least get some kind of certification that it won't do more harm than good.

Also, you may clean off gaskets that are sludged yet torn or worn out. As the sludge is dissolved and cleaned away it may begin to leak. Some leak worse than others.

Be prepared to put some time in replacing them.
Keep in mind no magic elixir will fix a mechanical issue. Slow and steady is the way to go for right now.

No need to blend, either the 10W30 or the 10W40 straight up would be ok. Either one has to be better than the 25W60 she's been running.

If it were me I'd just be doing a few short intervals with whatever decent brand-name oil is available cheaply, even if that's 10W40 or 15W40. (compared to thinner PCMO options, 15W40 HDEO is relatively inexpensive in Australia).

BTW. I was gonna ask if you could snap some pics for us while you were doing it, but I was too late.
