Vehicle Sighting - '90s Olds Wagon

Yes, but those are likely luxury cars with beds.
No. They are the majority of trucks nowadays. Maybe you're region is different but around here maybe 10% of half ton trucks are 8 foot box.
Here is my "luxury car" with my work gear in it.

They had that back into the 70s. My dad had a 79 impala wagon when I was a kid. We loved riding in the rear facing seat.
That was the rear-facing jump seat, right? Neat idea, but buckle the little ones up! They were infamous for children being ejected through the rear window if the car was rear-ended.

Yeah we loved that we were facing cars back behind. Sometimes we weren't allowed back there because grease got on the seatbelts...(That area doubled as dad's toolbox). He bought the car because he couldn't afford a good truck while building the house but he was really happy with how useful the car was. He could pick up a rototiller with it every year.

I was poking fun of all those $90,000 5.5' Limited and Platinum Trucks I see around here. "Put it in the rear seat, I don't want to scratch the bed".

I do have a ratty old F1 with a 6.5' bed down on the farm. I think you had to get an F2 to get a longbed then.
