Vehicle Sighting - '90s Olds Wagon

the one Op posted it def. a Roadmaster.
My GF's Family had one wen she was growing up, many fond memories.
My HS Band Director had the Olds Version. and I can remember seeing one of those wagons, ( assuming it was a caprice) around town, that some one had added bits and bobs to, to make it look like an old Chevy nomad.

There is a guy who works a few buildings down from me that has this gem.

Meh… We had a Chevy Wagon growing up and the size to space ratio isn’t that great compared to vehicles of today. It’s just “older” which isn’t exciting.

Now you drop a big ol’ tuned LS in that sucker and turn it into a sleeper then I’m all in. Stock - hard pass on grandma’s land boat.

You mean the title? It was initially titled, "Christmas With Woody" but my editor had other ideas.
I'm really not trying to be heavy handed on my comments & please don't take my comments as rude or disrespectful. With all do respect bringing religion into it (Not the Christmas title), I simply couldn't finish the read. I'm not religious or superstitious for that matter & I'm most likely in the minority. Although I didn't finish the read I can summarize that it may have been related to this post & can appreciate having some discussion about these machines. Thank you!

I don't even understand your concern but you're being gracious, and for that I wish you the best.

Always nice to spot these old dears in the wild.
Good that some folks have cared for them enough to keep them looking good and driving.
The thirst and lack of acceleration would be a downer, but this would be a fun part-time daily driver.

I get a bit of a chuckle whenever I come across one of these, which is very rare.

Back when I was a young accountant pup, I was the lead bean counter for a real estate portfolio owned by a Japanese syndicate. We were the property management firm for them in New England. The representative of the syndicate was a big-wig based in Tokyo and would visit the properties to inspect them, talk to our leadership, and be entertained. Let's call him Mr Smith;)

Well one of our Managing Partners had a then new Buick Roadmaster woody and Mr Smith just loved it. Absolutely loved it. He would inform us that he was coming and ask about "The Roadmaster" and looked forward to being ferried about the area in it, assumedly because it had a presence, was 3x the size of typical Japanese car, and even larger than whatever executive car he was driven in. I loved the way he said 'RoadMASter". Despite Boston being a walkable city, he wanted to be hauled about in Roadmaster to his steak, drinks and other destinations (use your imagination). Fun days.....well, mostly.

I think my '65 F250 has a smaller bed than new trucks.

F150 and SuperDuty 8' are both 98" floor length and 51" between the wheelwells. Why wouldn't it fit?

Or are you talking about people that buy a "purse hauler"?
I assume he's referring to the fact that very few half ton trucks made in the last 20 years are 8 foot long boxes. My truck and 3 others at my work are 6.5 foot and 2 are 5.5 foot. Not a single 8 foot box.
