Valvoline to release a new synchromesh MTF?

So, I was browsing the pdf of this fluid on Valvoline's site:

...and while examing the pdf:

Noticed it states in alternate:

^Looks a bit thick for MTF apps that typically are ATF-like in viscosity. So, maybe this new product will fill that gap? I'm interested.

It says the P series is for Synchromesh fluid spec'd vehicles.
But is IS kinda thick - like a 80-90.
Being fully synthetic may overcome any problems with the heavier weight in winter.
sounds great - I wonder if the suits frequent BITOG!

Now let's wait and see what the tariff is!

thats more of a 75w90 mtf (the linked one)

Unfortunately, that was the only word on the 'newer' fluid to be released. I never knew Valvoline offered a 'synthetic' MTF option. Probably available to a consumer like me at one of their quick lube places?

I'm more interested in the new product. I hope it has more availability than the other MTF which is of bit thicker nature as noted. I've just never seen or heard of it, TBH. I suppose a racer might want the already established P series MTF, in a suitable trans.

I'd be willing to try the newer one in the Civic if it looks appealing. Amsoil is pretty solid, but ya never know.
