What is interesting is 5w30 is no longer Chrysler certified

Mobil 1 isn’t either in the 5w30 flavor.

That is the way I see it too, an SP/GF6 version of Modern Engine. I have used VME 5w30 with good results but I would not think of putting it or Valvoline Extended Protection 5w30 in a Subaru FA20DIT engine which has a reputation for shredding resource conserving oils. Myself and others have had good to great results using Rotella T6 Multi Vehicle 5w30 in the FA20DIT and other GDI engines.

40k km later and I'm still using the RTMV, wonderful oil.

It quiets my engine so much.

I hope they will keep making it for a while.
