Used Ford Mobile Service today.

Respect to you. Life's too short to crawl under your vehicle once the pains start at a certain age..........

I have a coupon for my Chevrolet Dealer for an oil change for my 5.3. Takes 8 quarts-the coupon makes it $115.00. I don't care. It costs what it costs.
With many of my trucks over the years I would slide under without a lift or jack stands and change the oil. I will use a dealer but I always like to do at least the first oil change myself as I'm a do the first one early to get the break-in oil out kinda guy but then I purchased a new Ram 1500 and I thought I got this,,,

So it get under fine, drain the oil but the problem was getting back out. You see that bottom air dam is curved so I slid under fine but once I reversed that air dame edge became like Chinese Handcuffs to my aging gut thats now in the way! You can get in but you can't get back out!

I was able to escape but at my age my oil changes are somewhat now limited to my Motorcycle...

Do they use an evacuator or drain the oil?
$29.95 for 6 qts is quite the bargain.
Not sure this is not some sort of a loss leader.
One person working on one car at a time has advantages.
As a former quick lube owner/operator I'd love to see how it's done.

It is a loss leader the Max Auto Group sold one dealership and moved to two smaller dealerships and I think they're just trying to drum up business.

I did the same thing previously. However, skid plates are difficult to deal without lifting up the trucks. Oil plug/filter-no issue but skid plates are. JMHO.

Boy, proper oil change level from a dealers oil change is something I now demand be right, I let them know up front I'm checking that level myself before we done!

From memory the last mobil oil change with Coupon was under $100 for the oil & filter, tire rotation and multi point inspection but with the premium wiper blade changeout it pushed it a bit over $100 as I remember as this last set of wiper blades being what I considered kinda expensive perhaps $40 to $50 a set as I recall. I have paid less in the past so not sure what the wiper price increase was all about but me being able to see in a hard rain is PRICELESS and me remembering to have the wiper blades changed before I find myself standing in the rain in front of AutoZone changing blades is worth whatever Ford whats to charge me!

The Ford Mobil Service ( and me being a Ford guy ) would be a main reason I would buy a Ford next time ( a car is only as good as the dealers service experience IMO ) but sadly Ford decided to stop making cars in favor of SUV and me and my family are still CAR people so Ford will be loosing out on my business this go round...

We loved the Fusion but its time for a new Car!

Agreed there is no way they aren’t losing money on that deal.

I will have to see if Reed Ford even has Mobile, it’s an interesting option.
