Used Ford Mobile Service for the first time today. First off they let me use my Motorcraft
Full Synthetic oil I had in stock. It was a instant "That's OK" when I asked . The young man about 30 Y.O. had all the proper tools, was friendly and worked efficiently, with tire rotation he was driving away in 45 minutes. If you ache in the back like I do right now, it's probably worth a try.

The one pic is of the Semi synthetic that they usually use. Kind of a Unicorn.

What a coincidence.
Just today, one of those trucks -same livery- turned down my street behind me.
I took notice of the familiar dealership's name.

Will they mount + balance tires?

It is all dealer specific based on their insurance. Our insurance will not let us lift a vehicle or drain fluids off the dealer campus. They don't want to pay for techs getting crushed when it falls or for new driveways.

I have had fantastic experiences with my local Ford mobil Service and much prefer Ford Mobil. My dealer the last few years offers 1/2 off to do the mobil vs in his shop to help build his mobil business.

The guys are total pro and as nice as one comes! I can sit on my porch drining my ice tea and keep and eye on the tech changing the oil, rotating my tires, replacing the wiper blades and I can always remind him "Don't overfill the oil" I can verify the proper oil goes in and being able to watch to keep an eye on things in MY driveway is worth paying more not less!

I always tip a $20 for the tech guy for his lunch and its a fantastic experience!
As far as the Ford oil blend, Been running nothing but the Ford blend for years in everything from Retired Police Crown Vics to my Ford Fusion, Its great oil!

Haven't paid yet. They will call tomorrow. The trip is gratis.
Cool... A Tesla tech made a house call to replace the 12v battery on our 2018 Model 3. No service charge, just $110 for the battery. He also check the car out, top to bottom, for typical issues, tire wear, etc. Our 2018 Model 3 was an early car; he deemed it one of the best he had seen.

I've had great service out of our local Ford Mobile peeps. Used them for recalls on mom's Maverick and my F150. Not used them for anything other than that though.

I do wish Tire Rack would find another Mobile person for this area though. We had one for a while and it was the best thing ever. I'd take my wheels off, he'd rock up and do the tires and I'd put them back on. Fantastic in every way. And then they stopped in my area for some reason.

I am. The last few oil changes I've had a sore back for days afterwards. The last one. Had my backing aching for months. It's better now but I don't want to go through that again.

Respect to you. Life's too short to crawl under your vehicle once the pains start at a certain age..........

I have a coupon for my Chevrolet Dealer for an oil change for my 5.3. Takes 8 quarts-the coupon makes it $115.00. I don't care. It costs what it costs.

Very cool idea! I thought I had heard of this in a commercial locally but never heard of someone using them.. yup I'm in , keep us posted (y)

I get emails from my dealer trying to sell me this service. Haven't used them yet may give it a try a some point. When I don't have the time to do it myself or drive the 45 minutes to the dealership.

I feel ya! I destroyed my back in a 20 foot fall, bad backs are no joke. I bought an extractor for the days I can't climb under my vehicles. I do short intervals with a long life filter. This way if I can't climb under that oil change I don't worry about filtration.
