The round head ratchets are still made in Italy. The sockets, wrenches, and pear head ratchets are primarily made in Taiwan now. They are still good quality and design though. This applies to Facom and USAG.

Most of the screwdrivers and pliers are made in France.

If you want to try the USAG roundhead style ratchets you can also look for these Dewalt models. Dewalt is also owned by Stanley Black & Decker and these ratchets are made in Italy.

Just for the record Armstrong tools were never owned by Stanley Black & Decker, they were owned by Danaher (Apex) in 1994 before being closed in 2017.

Good to know. To get to $50 free shipping on Zoro, I bought this to go with my Williams 3/8 round head, which also uses the same mechanism as these, made in USA. With the 20% off it came to $46 plus tax. I had to send one back it was ratcheting loud in one direction and too quiet in the other. USAG is in a small town of 2700 people in the Alps area of Italy. Must be keeping them busy making all these brand variations of the same ratchet, just with different handles.
