I have a dual spray nozzle, and it sprays on the bottom third of the windshield. I have stuck toothpicks in to try to reposition them, but no luck. So I am wondering about buying replacements that can either be adjusted, or have a wider spray. Are nozzle universal, or do I need to get measurements of mine and then find a match?

I've only had to replace a windshield wiper nozzle once, on a 1999 Nissan Altima. It was a dealer part.

I snapped out the old one and snapped in the new one, connected the wiper hose and was done.

I've re-aimed a couple of cars in the past. I've found that the nozzle is a sphere with a hole drilled through it (think of a pearl on a string), and set into a socket, kinda like your eyeball.
I took a pin or needle that just slipped into the hole, and started tweaking to re-aim. It took a bit of pressure to get the little sphere to move in the socket, but it worked. Give it a try and let us know what happens.
You may have to put a tiny drop of solvent/BP blaster/etc on the ball to loosen it if your probe pin bends too easily. Just be careful of your paint, or you can pull the nozzle unit off of the hood to avoid risking your paint.

check out the salvage yard. maybe a different brand. all so be sure the installation has no leeks under the hood. it realy messs up the distributor cap.

COP morris, but I will see if I can get another ordered if I can't get it dislodged. My pull it off and take it to the states to mess with it. More chemicals available there.

Change your stream type nozzles to the more modern fan pattern ones. You have to be sure the fan spray is not angled too high or low if you get them from a different model car. .

We had to replace the passenger-side nozzle on our old Accord, as it got plugged. $3 at the dealership parts counter (call first to make sure they have them in stock!) and 5 minutes to swap them and all was good!

I once had to ream out the white corrosion from the nozzles with a drill bit. This restored it back to brand new performance.
