I have a Pela 6000 with used oil in the vacuum line/bottom of it. What would be the best way to get oil from my car, into the pela, then into the little container without contaminating the sample or going underneath my car and undoing the plug/filter?

I can't clean out the Pela easily as the opening is pretty small

But even though my residual oil has been in my Pela a while, could I throughly clean it by sucking up kerosene, swishing it around, and rinsing it out a couple times? Any other ideas come to mind?

Thanks.

Just get a cool little sample pump from blackstone or amsoil. It pumps directly into a sample container. As long as you use a new piece of tubing everytime you want to sample, you will have no worries.

yeah I don't see how that would work with the canister. I just ordered a vacuum pump from blackstone instead. Thanks anyway.
