I'm a bit confused as to why the silicon is still so high. I have checked over and over the air filteration. I checked the factory filter, replaced it with a PureOne filter, etc. It seems quite high.

After I run this round of M1, I'm going to dump regular dino Castrol/Havoline in it....Maybe It'll go down.

OR it's the M1 eating my silicone gaskets..

Why is the TBN so hammered

You've only had this in service for 3.5 months and 2400 miles. My TBN, in a short trip environment over 13months and 9k miles, was at par with it..slightly better even. The TBN started at around 12.

I would have expected this after 1 year in service

Let me be the first to tell you that you are changing oil way to often. Leave this oil in for at least 5 or 6 K miles. 3.3 TBN is still a lot of TBN left

6.0L gas new engine?I know 5.3L v8,7.4L v8,5.7L v8,6.2L diesel v8,6.5L turbo diesel v8 and new 6.6L duramax common rail diesel.Haven't heard about this 6.0L engine.interesting.
Not a bad UOA.Hope next one will improve.
Cheers.
bob.

The engines have been out for a few years now.

Yes I know I can run longer than 2k, but I choose not to.

let it leak---its got a warranty that GM has to pay for to fix it.

They should have produced a non leaking motor, regardless of howmuch I changed the oil .
