I finally have a garage to put my cars in. Now I see oil and other unidentified fluids on the ground. The guy previously was a poor persons mechanic (and a sloppy one). Some of the fluids I see are oil, brake, grease, you name it. I need a solution for removal of said spills. The stains will remain I know, but I need to get as much of this stuff up as I can. Are there any products that will work?

How would that help; he's saying that the fluids are not from his own vehicle, but from the last person in the garage.

There are several grease removal products for garage floors. I can't remember the name of them but I have used some in the past. They work ok.

He also said "the stains will remain I know," so with some remnants down he doesn't have to lie on them while working on his car.

Isn't there more choices (by name)to remove various fluids, like oil absorber, just to get the bulk of it up. The carpet pieces & linoleum are nice options. I looked at the garage today and it's like a small puddle of liquids. I'm still cleaning the garage out, so there maybe more underneath the trash. I'm not a machanic so I won't be spending alot of time on the floor. I have no idea what effects it has on tire, just won't take the chance.
