Underwear?

I wear Duluth Trading buck naked undershirts. I wanted a dry fit undershirt for a tall man.

It was getting harder to find XLT undershirts, so I figured I'd give them a try. I have 6-8 of them. I wear them as an undershirt and then use that shirt as my workout shirt the following day.

I've had mine for over three years now. They are holding up. I have a mix of v-neck and crew neck.

They don't lead an easy life as they pull double duty. But they keep me and the crack covered. They are cooler and more comfortable in these roles compared to 100% cotton shirts.

They are not cheap at $24.50 each, but you can often find them on sale. But they last longer than cotton undershirts, so with the longevity, at the worst, it's a push.

I think the JCP XLT Stafford brand cotton undershirts were $36 for a 4 pack, so $9 each. But after about a year, they are getting holy and with not as much use.

For me, the dual role that my DT BN undershirts can play makes it a smart purchase.

YMMV.

My wife got these at Wal-Mart. They appear well made and feel good.

I don't know about 30 dollar underwear when there are people who are starving in the world. I buy most of my clothes on clearance. I don't like paying more than 20 bucks for jeans.

I never thought there would be a post about underwear here, but I agree with what turtlevette says here. I don't need some sort of designer underwear. I will just get Hanes or whatever and change them out for new underwear on a regular basis.

I try to buy my jeans as cheap as possible also. I have managed to get Van Heusen shirts for half price or less and I recently bought a pair of jeans that came with the second pair for half price.

Most of my clothes are inexpensive. If I need to buy a really good quality suit I will. I don't think clothes ever made the person.

I mostly stay away from expensive stores unless I really need something somewhere. I go where I can get good quality clothes as cheaply as possible.

So we got a picture of an underwear box, how soon before someone posts a picture wearing a pair? If only GHT were still around.

Hit up Goodwill or Salvation Army, I bought my last set of shirts there for like $3.50 each. Unfortunately I could not find pants, but since I get more than a year out of a pair I will just buy them when on sale. I might use up two pairs per year.

I stopped buying jeans years ago, only buy dress slacks now. When I can't wear them to work they get worn around the house, so I get like 2x the life from them.

You're talking about undershirts, but what do you wear on your lower extremities? America wants to know.

I pay about $15.00 for 2 pair. The last couple of packages I've bought have not held up well. Like most things, quality is going down. If I can pay more money and they last longer and are more comfortable, I think it's money well spent. The last pair of jeans I bought were Lee for about $35.00. It's not like I'm living like a rock star.

Costco has the best mens underwear. Kirkland is the brand I buy. It is more of a boxer/brief type thing.

Never did have good luck with anything from Jockey, or from Hanes. Either did not fit right or was not good quality.

Stores like TJMaxx, Marshalls often have the big name, high quality stuff for pretty cheap.

I think this is one case where synthetics may be better

For the rest of my clothes, it's Goodwill or Salvation army.

I will only wear Joe Boxer boxer-briefs. Not too tight, not too loose, and more than adequate support.

Similarly, I only wear Joe Boxer socks.
